The chipmunk on our deck

At my house on the deck is a chipmunk that lives underneath the deck. The chipmunk always comes out and teases my two cats named Mr.Bill and Huggles.

Then on Monday August 22 I went out side on the deck and laid some nuts out where the chipmunk is so he could have a snack. Then a little while after I laid the nuts out for the chipmunk I saw him and his friend the squirrel and they were going nuts over nuts.

Then Tuesday August 23 I did the same thing again. Then at the same time they both came back to eat the last of the nuts from the bag of nuts that we got at the store.

I said it was like having A.F.V at home but with no commercials.

I won at the 4-H fair

I made 4-H projects and the projects were my wildlife scrapbook, a bird watching poster with my birdhouse that I brought with my own money, a garden poster with my aloe plant that I rescued from school.





Then I set up my projects in the categories that they were supposed to be in. Then Thursday August 11 we dropped the projects off and then we went to see the alpacas get judged.



Then on Saturday August 13 my mom and dad and I went back and saw how wonderful my projects did. We found out that all of my projects won gold ribbons. Then on Sunday August 14 my mom and dad went to pick up my projects from the 4-h fair at 4:15 in the afternoon.

I was so happy that I won three gold ribbons.
